Asia Pacific Tourism Association (APTA) will hold an Annual conference in Fukuoka, Japan from July 6 to 8, 2026 (www.apta2026.org). As a first conference event, APTA annual conference provides a workshop for graduate students to interactively discuss their on-going research with peers, colleagues, and leading supervisors and scholars in the field. Graduate students at all stages are encouraged to participate. If a research proposal is accepted, the student will have about 15 minutes presentation time, and 5 minutes Q&A time and feedback from scholars. If a research proposal is NOT accepted, we recommend the paper to the Poster presentation.

* This special session enables graduate students to share and develop their research ideas in a critical but encouraging environment, get feedback from leading scholars in the hospitality and tourism field, explore research topics and issues for future research, and build relationships with other students and scholars from around the world.

Submission Guidelines

  • All submissions will go through a review process. Students will be notified about the review outcome, along with recommendations to improve the proposal before the workshop. Accepted proposals will be included in the APTA 2026 proceedings with author's agreement.
